When Your Brain Sounds an Alarm

When Your Brain Sounds an Alarm you must listen. In the morning, if you didn’t listen to your alarm clock, you’d be late for— or miss work. An alarm is there for a reason. The fire alarm in your house is there to detect smoke and to keep your from sleeping through a house fire. If you disconnect the alarm, you’re likely to be burned up with your house. We must learn to listen to our brains when an alarm goes off both metaphorically and physically.

When Your Brain Sounds an Alarm

When Your Brain Sounds an Alarm it is sharing something very specific about your mental or physical health. An alarm can go off because someone is depleting you of energy. Your brain is trying to signal you of your need to guard yourself from this person or event. Your brain’s physical alarm can go off with back, neck, or knee pain or any other medical outcome from sickness or disease. Pain isn’t just an annoyance—it’s an alarm.

My Personal Experience with When My Brain Sounds an Alarm

As I go through my day, I make time to listen and be quiet for these alarms. With physical pain, there really isn’t a need to get quiet. It’s the easiest to recognize.  In silence, I believe that Spirit and my connection to Spirit is always helping me see the alarms that don’t manifest so loudly, always sharing with me what I need to do to live a happier, healthier, and more spiritually connected life.

I believe alarms go off in different ways for different people. But, mine go off as gut impulses and inclinations, never in a voice in my brain. (If you need to know more about how Spirit speaks, go back to my last 3 blogs.) For me, God’s voice manifests as an emotional feeling.

When I don’t listen, I ultimately find myself in a worse mess. Remember, when the brain signals you with an alarm, you really should get quiet and ask for guidance. Your angels or the Holy Spirit or your Inner Guidance is working overtime to get your attention. They are always willing to give you the help you need. “Seek and you shall find.”

In the quiet space is the perfect time to gain control over the coming day and battles you are likely to face, plus it is the time to investigate your impulses and your inner awareness of these awakenings

So, how do you check in, listen to, and then plug into your spiritual higher power?

Formal or informal prayer doesn’t matter. The fact that you initiate contact is what’s important. Asking questions and being open to hearing the answers is the way to be moved toward spiritual growth. Dialogue, not just requests, is the definition of relationship. So, just air your laundry list of complaints. Listen and ask. Then wait in the power silence, beyond your brain and into the knowing, loving, compassionate presence of God that exists in our heart and gut. (I’m not really concerned about what path your choose to get this to happen. If it’s working for you, let’s just go with it for now.)

Personally, I get quiet. When I go to Spirit with a question, I must be open to getting an answer. This can come while I’m being quiet or with a gentle knowingness. Sometimes, though, after I meditate it comes as a sign or a synchronicity in life.  Someone or something or some news outlet or book may say exactly what I needed to hear. I don’t limit Spirit’s way of telling me my answer.

One time a bum on the train in NYC looked straight at me and told me the answer I had been praying for. In that moment, the Holy Spirit used this man to share with me what I needed to know. I was grateful.

Our mental and physical alarms are always speaking to us. They need our attention and the charge of Spirit to continue working. I call this MY PHYSICIAN WITHIN.  It’s always on call and answers every message you send. I promise. Just don’t limit the messenger.

The purpose of this blog is to realize that the stories in the brain are impulses from Spirit to help us heal, if we are willing to take the time to understand our own pain. Most of us want to avoid it. But, if you are tired of reliving your stories over and over again, try learning to become the observer of your mind. Restore and Renew Your Mind. When Healing Flows like Living Water through your being, you’ll notice you feel led and connected, sleep better, your mind stays affixed on positive things, and you’ll even want to cook better, healthier food to protect your body. Are you looking for help with anxiety or are you bored at home.

Try this yoga practice below on YouTube I made just for this purpose or give me a call for a 10 minute consultation. I’d love to work through your stress at this time with you.

The process is so simple, it doesn’t make sense that it could result in such a vast change in mind. You could do some seated yoga. I actually made 3 different yoga videos on YouTube you could go to now and enjoy how great you’ll feel if you spend just a little time getting your body free of stress. But, I can’t do it for you. This article about it can make you do it. You  must be a self-started at home, as well as work. Set your mind to a clear schedule of things to do. This would be a brilliant time to learn a new language or clean out the closets.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT PEACE OF MIND

We give away our peace of mind every time we react emotionally to inevitable change. Peace is yours to keep, not give away. So, if you are not experiencing peace, it’s up to you to share why you are anxious with yourself by carrying on a self dialogue. Yes, that’s right. Question yourself. Work it out together with all the parts of your mind (the good, bad, and the ugly). These are the times when we will be closest to our loved ones and also have a great deal of alone time. Use it to your spiritual and physical advantage.

Some friendly reminders about Peace:

  • You are made in the image and by the grace of Peace.
  • Peace doesn’t comprehend pandemonium.
  • Peace of mind is gentle.
  • Peace does not judge you or others.
  • Peace promotes calm and love.

Peace Helps You Keep Your Retrospect in Check

Psychology Today says that “it’s not bad to have negative thoughts …

We just have to stop believing them!” (Change your unhealthy thought process to a positive connection with Hypnotherapy.) Don’t avoid the Ripple!

Narcissistic abuse is a form of emotional and psychological abuse. It is primarily inflicted by individuals who have either narcissistic personality disorder (NPD, which is characterized by a lack of empathy), or antisocial personality disorder (ASPD, also known as sociopaths or psychopaths), and is associated with the absence of a conscience.  Checking in with God

The Physiology of Hypnotherapy:

By going into a subconscious, light sleep or trance, a hypnotists helps find the pathways connecting your outside stimulus to your negative thoughts (food, smoking, anxiety). The work begins in the frontal cortex of your brain

Disconnect the root cause (stress, relationship problems, no quality ME time) at the foot of the pathway (the place where our response to triggers happens) and build a healthy, new pathway to positive outcomes in your life—a new story for tomorrow.
