A Whole New World

Have you noticed that to create a whole new world in your life, great change had to come in the form of powerful adversity? I know in my life, the only times I had really made a complete mind-over (like make-over) was when I had been forced through a powerful storm that looked likely to devastate me and my world as I new it. In the end, though, I came away from the old world stronger, more powerful than I knew I could be.  

A Whole New World

Why let go of the old world when it has been serving you so well for so many years? Could a whole new world likely be better than the old one? Could I create a paradigm that is better than the one I have known for so long? I believe the answer is yes, yes, yes!

Look at the caterpillar. If it had decided the tree was too tall to climb, or the limb too precarious, or the amount of precious silk it would need for change would decimate its reserves; would it then have been able to dream past the high weeds and coarse earth to imagine wings to fly? 

This time of isolation can be used for the purpose of attaining a brand new world, “a new fantastic point of view,” to quote the song. We must take time everyday to read something new or old, meditate or get quiet with a positive thought, or discuss with someone you love something that actually matters in the largest scheme of the world. If we do this, I’m certain that the love that is the universal power will wrap itself around our thoughts and begin to shape and form the molecular shift it takes to create lasting change in our minds and in the Earth. 

When I look at this time through the lens of infinite love and ultimate change, it often takes a great disaster to change minds and break the egos of those who exult themselves above God. I want everyone in this world to have a chance to make these hard choices, to come to their bottom and come out of this with a new mind—a whole new world-class mind. This is my prayer.

We give away our peace of mind every time we react emotionally to inevitable change. Peace is yours to keep, not give away. So, if you are not experiencing peace, it’s up to you to share why you are anxious with yourself by carrying on a self dialogue. Yes, that’s right. Question yourself. Work it out together with all the parts of your mind (the good, bad, and the ugly). These are the times when we will be closest to our loved ones and also have a great deal of alone time. Use it to your spiritual and physical advantage.

Some friendly reminders about Peace:

  • You are made in the image and by the grace of Peace. 
  • Peace doesn’t comprehend pandemonium. 
  • Peace of mind is gentle.
  • Peace does not judge you or others.
  • Peace promotes calm and love.
