True Meaning of Healing

True healing comes from right thinking. Right thinking comes from the ability to look directly at change and agree with reality, no matter how hard it is for you. We can’t stay wrapped in a bubble of stasis, without acknowledging that fear also comes with resistance to change.

True Meaning of Healing

Look at the world around you. The true meaning of healing is in the deciduous tree gently dropping its leaves after myriads of color changes, knowing that after a long winter its beautiful new growth will begin with flowers and then more and more leaves, all pointing toward the heavens with respect and love.(from my book “Your New Story, Your New Life.”)

This same healing power exists within each of us. However, fear can limit this amazing conversion. When fear and anxiety are present, they stand like objects blocking your view of the future. Fear is a thing, a reality. Anxiety is a thing. We might as well identify it as something as real as love and joy; however, its power and vibration is lower and can hold you captive unless you realize you have power over it.  The stronghold is broken by facing Change!

My Story about True Meaning of Healing

As a Practitioner of Hypnotherapy

I stopped fearing change when a series of faithful friends passed away in a period of two years. In my grief, I sat in prayer for days, fasting, and reaching out to the unlimited universe of understanding. “Why?” I asked.

The answer didn’t come quickly. However, it came to me like a light in the darkness. What I saw in a dream was this:

I stood before a counsel of angelic beings. I heard them ask me, “Why have you come?”

I responded telepathically: I’m discouraged and sad. I don’t want to be on this Earth anymore. It’s too difficult.

A peaceful voice radiated from the center of my heart: “My son, you have come to be a father to my people, to guide and lead them to the light.”

Then like the dream of Ebenezer Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol,” I was taken to a place where I stood before this same counsel as before, but this time, I asked them to help the Earth. They showed me the the turmoil and stress the world would be in as I lived here. They also showed me that I would be completely emptied of my heavenly power and insight until I conquered my human brain and merged with the infinite God Mind. They showed me helping Jesus and a large group of angelic helpers, both on and around the Earth, asking for the same destiny.

Then, suddenly, I was back in my physical body. I sat in my recliner for the longest time, basking in the Glory of being in God’s presence, but I also realized who I had become from the time I asked about coming to the Earth, until the moment I cried out for answers. I became man, with a brain, with a human body that began to die the moment it was born, dropped into a world that was specifically made to teach humanity an amazing lesson. But what was that lesson I needed to learn?

I knew if I figure this out, I’d be on the other side of my grief.

I realized that what I fought against in my grief was merely change. I wanted my friends to stay with me forever. I wanted their bodies not to get cancer, or their minds not push to them toward suicide. I wanted cars not to run into trees, and deadly accidents to be completely avoided. Basically, I wanted the world to stay the same—always. I didn’t want or accept the change that had been occurring around me. This resistance to change was what caused my tremendous grief.

The message of love in change is this:

In a book called “What Happy People Know,” Dr. Dan Baker quotes one of his clients diagnosed with her second bout of cancer. She was asked how she remained so happy through all of this hard change. She said the secret is this:

“Every moment that’s ever been or ever will be is gone the instant it’s begun. So, life is loss. And the secret to happiness it to learn to love the moment more than you mourn the loss.”

Just reread that and drink it in for a moment. Notice she doesn’t say, “But… the secret to happiness is.” She says, “And…”

She basically said that we must love change to be happy. We must face change as inevitable—including death, including aging, including any loss in our lives, even our own inevitable demise.

This message changed me forever.

*The purpose of this blog is to realize that the stories in the brain are impulses from Spirit to help us heal, if we are willing to take the time to understand our own pain. Most of us want to avoid it. But, if you are tired of reliving your stories over and over again, try learning to become the observer of your mind.

GIVE IT A TRY.

When Healing Flows like Living Water through your being, you’ll notice you feel led and connected, sleep better, your mind stays affixed on positive things, and you’ll even want to cook better, healthier food to protect your body. Are you looking for help with anxiety or are you bored at home.

Try this yoga practice below on YouTube I made just for this purpose or give me a call for a 10 minute consultation. I’d love to work through your stress at this time with you.

The process is so simple, it doesn’t make sense that it could result in such a vast change in mind. You could do some seated yoga. I actually made 3 different yoga videos on YouTube you could go to now and enjoy how great you’ll feel if you spend just a little time getting your body free of stress. But, I can’t do it for you. This article about it can make you do it. You  must be a self-started at home, as well as work. Set your mind to a clear schedule of things to do. This would be a brilliant time to learn a new language or clean out the closets.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT PEACE OF MIND

We give away our peace of mind every time we react emotionally to inevitable change. Peace is yours to keep, not give away. So, if you are not experiencing peace, it’s up to you to share why you are anxious with yourself by carrying on a self dialogue. Yes, that’s right. Question yourself. Work it out together with all the parts of your mind (the good, bad, and the ugly). These are the times when we will be closest to our loved ones and also have a great deal of alone time. Use it to your spiritual and physical advantage.

Some friendly reminders about Peace:

  • You are made in the image and by the grace of Peace.
  • Peace doesn’t comprehend pandemonium.
  • Peace of mind is gentle.
  • Peace does not judge you or others.
  • Peace promotes calm and love.

The Physiology of Hypnotherapy:

By going into a subconscious, light sleep or trance, a hypnotists helps find the pathways connecting your outside stimulus to your negative thoughts (food, smoking, anxiety). The work begins in the frontal cortex of your brain

Disconnect the root cause (stress, relationship problems, no quality ME time) at the foot of the pathway (the place where our response to triggers happens) and build a healthy, new pathway to positive outcomes in your life—a new story for tomorrow.
