Moving Through Life’s Changes

Every day, change happens. How do we move through life’s changes to accept it with grace?

We peer through the looking glass toward the future only to find more inevitable change. What we know with certainty is that we will be older. Yeh, right? Older and wiser, perhaps. Older and in more pain or debilitation, quite possibly. Older and faced with more harsh circumstance? Could very well be.

Moving Through Life’s Changes

I want to live my life with fullness and authenticity. I have no time for pouting over inevitable change. However, wouldn’t it be nice if there were a glimpse of positive change?  This is very doable.

My Personal Experience with Moving Through Life’s Changes

I’m a clinical hypnotherapist living in Fort Lauderdale. I deal with anxious people all of the time. I help them get over separation from loved ones, anxiety, despair, weight loss, and habits of all kinds. I decided to wear this professional hat because I enjoy helping people get off of the merry-go-round of negativity. Our lives have a tendency to attract what we fear. This doesn’t have to be.

Think about what you fear most. Then face it! Imagine the absolute worst happening. Then look at it without emotion. For instance: “I’m afraid my partner will die.”  What would that look like? There is a Buddhist principle that asks us to imagine the ones we love moving through death, being buried, decomposing, even.

Why would you want to be so morbid? you might ask. The answer is in the way we perceive the future. If we peer through the look glass with authentic truth, saying to ourselves, “This is what will happen. Death is inevitable,” we then become comfortable with what is. We don’t try to avoid death or despair over it. We simply begin to make the best out of every moment of our lives with that person.

In my life, I have watched many people pass from life. Some died suddenly, some slowly. Still, most people don’t really appreciate why human life has limits. Learning to understand the trajectory of my human existence is what makes me feel empowered by change.

When I don’t look at things and people as markers of good or bad, I find that my point of view stays positive.

For example: when I keep my mind fixed on what is mine to do, I don’t worry about what could happen if….

Most days I wake up and ask the universe to guide me. So, much of life becomes listening for the shift in the wind or looking for signs of what is best for me. Notice, I’m not wondering what others should do or how they will be affected. I’m simply concerned about my positive force in the world.

I find it easy to get distracted with politics, finance, death, accidents. They are all over the news constantly. I don’t have to listen to the news. But that would be a bit avoidant. What if I could watch the news without being reactive?

Wouldn’t this be the key to staying out of negativity?

For me, this is the only way to live a happy positive life.

When Healing Flows like Living Water through your being, you’ll notice you feel led and connected, sleep better, your mind stays affixed on positive things, and you’ll even want to cook better, healthier food to protect your body. Are you looking for help with anxiety or are you bored at home.

Try this yoga practice below on YouTube I made just for this purpose or give me a call for a 10 minute consultation. I’d love to work through your stress at this time with you.

The process is so simple, it doesn’t make sense that it could result in such a vast change in mind. You could do some seated yoga. I actually made 3 different yoga videos on YouTube you could go to now and enjoy how great you’ll feel if you spend just a little time getting your body free of stress. But, I can’t do it for you. This article about it can make you do it. You  must be a self-started at home, as well as work. Set your mind to a clear schedule of things to do. This would be a brilliant time to learn a new language or clean out the closets.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT PEACE OF MIND

We give away our peace of mind every time we react emotionally to inevitable change. Peace is yours to keep, not give away. So, if you are not experiencing peace, it’s up to you to share why you are anxious with yourself by carrying on a self dialogue. Yes, that’s right. Question yourself. Work it out together with all the parts of your mind (the good, bad, and the ugly). These are the times when we will be closest to our loved ones and also have a great deal of alone time. Use it to your spiritual and physical advantage.

Some friendly reminders about Peace:

  • You are made in the image and by the grace of Peace.
  • Peace doesn’t comprehend pandemonium.
  • Peace of mind is gentle.
  • Peace does not judge you or others.
  • Peace promotes calm and love.

Peace Helps You Keep Your Retrospect in Check

Psychology Today says that “it’s not bad to have negative thoughts …

We just have to stop believing them!” (Change your unhealthy thought process to a positive connection with Hypnotherapy.) Don’t avoid the Ripple!

Narcissistic abuse is a form of emotional and psychological abuse. It is primarily inflicted by individuals who have either narcissistic personality disorder (NPD, which is characterized by a lack of empathy), or antisocial personality disorder (ASPD, also known as sociopaths or psychopaths), and is associated with the absence of a conscience.  More than enough fish in the sea.

How Hypnosis Works

The Physiology of Hypnotherapy:

By going into a subconscious, light sleep or trance, a hypnotists helps find the pathways connecting your outside stimulus to your negative thoughts (food, smoking, anxiety). The work begins in the frontal cortex of your brain

Disconnect the root cause (stress, relationship problems, no quality ME time) at the foot of the pathway (the place where our response to triggers happens) and build a healthy, new pathway to positive outcomes in your life—a new story for tomorrow.
