Why does Fear Catalyze Anxiety? To Catalyze by definition is: “to cause a reaction …” The definition of Fear is: “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.” This is the noun’s definition. Listen to the definition as a verb:
I spent the majority of my life making extra money in the evenings editing books, novels, scientific journals, websites… I did this because I liked correcting things. Like the character Dexter on television, who circumscribes his desire to murder by only killing murders who have escaped sentencing. I have decided it is much better to correct manuscripts than correcting family and friends. In fact, had I continued on the correction path of my friends and family, I think I may be the one who was like Dexter’s next victim—dead on arrival. (Of course, I’m speaking in jest here.)
Living life with fear and anxiety is like holding on to a cannonball while you walk through life. When you try to sleep, you feel as if it is on top of your chest. When you turn over in bed, you land directly on it again. You roll the heavy weight off of the bed, and it lands on your dog, your cat, your spouse… Anxiety, the noun or the verb, is the powerful negative everyone needs to live without!
So, how does fear essentially help grow fear. Well, imagine that you were growing a garden. You planted seeds of love, truth, prosperity, and compassion in your tilled and manicured soil. However, unbeknownst to you, you also planted the seeds of anxiety or fear. Since anxiety and fear spread faster than any gift of the spirit, it began to grow like weeds and begins to choke out the small, but fragile, plants of love and joy. (Let’s be clear: The fear is not strong enough to kill the small and tender love, if it is tended to correctly.) However, you have trouble pulling out the fear and anxiety. Like weeds with deep roots, the fear and anxiety, keeps coming back up, even after you spend the entire day pulling it out.
The problem isn’t that the love isn’t as strong as the fear. The problem is that you have been watering the love and joy and prosperity, but also watering the fear and anxiety with your myriad thoughts and dreams. Whenever you think a thought long enough, you allow it to grow in your heart and mind. The issue is what is stuck in your mind. Hypnosis is the only means I know of to correct the transmission of negative neural pathways like fears, habits, and anxiety.
So, if you absolutely know that hypnosis cauterizes fear and anxiety—doesn’t catalyze it—then would you give Hypnotherapy at Hypnosis on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale a try? DON’T FORGET ABOUT PEACE OF MIND
We give away our peace of mind every time we react emotionally to inevitable change. Peace is yours to keep, not give away. So, if you are not experiencing peace, it’s up to you to share why you are anxious with yourself by carrying on a self dialogue. Yes, that’s right. Question yourself. Work it out together with all the parts of your mind (the good, bad, and the ugly). These are the times when we will be closest to our loved ones and also have a great deal of alone time. Use it to your spiritual and physical advantage.
Some friendly reminders about Peace:
Psychology Today says that “it’s not bad to have negative thoughts …
We just have to stop believing them!” (Change your unhealthy thought process to a positive connection with Hypnotherapy.)
You will always find all the coaching, compassion, and peace of mind you need at Hypnosis on Las Olas with 31 years of experience. You can find what we do? and How we do it here.
The Physiology of Hypnotherapy:
By going into a subconscious, light sleep or trance, a hypnotists helps find the pathways connecting your outside stimulus to your negative thoughts (food, smoking, anxiety). The work begins in the frontal cortex of your brain!
Disconnect the root cause (stress, relationship problems, no quality ME time) at the foot of the pathway (the place where our response to triggers happens) and build a healthy, new pathway to positive outcomes in your life—a new story for tomorrow.
