Three weeks ago, I didn’t expect that I would have to have my semi-annual doctor’s visit online. Alas, it came and went without a hitch. Was it up to standard and fulfill my needs as a patient?
Of course, there is nothing better than having a real person check your blood pressure, check your glands to see if they are swollen, look into your ears and nose to see if infection is there, but a doctor’s visit from home—from my point of view—was fast and easy. As someone who must go in to the physician’s office to get my monthly prescriptions filled, I’d say this was much easier than waiting in line and waiting for a nurse to fill out all these forms (I was provided the forms to fill out before the online appointment occurred). Doctor’s visits usually take about 2-4 hours of my time. This was a 20 minute process total.
When your doctor visits your from home, even the prescriptions he/she says that he can’t send online (scheduled drugs), during this special time of Covid-19, these online prescriptions are available. I didn’t have to get out of my chair, still holding my coffee cup, I spoke with him from the comfort of my usual morning routine.
A doctor’s visit from home can go much easier and be more thorough if you have a blood pressure machine and a thermometer. I was able to take my own temperature and blood pressure, read him the results, which gave my account a much more extensive look at how I was doing.

The process is so simple, it doesn’t make sense that it could result in such a vast change in mind. You could do some seated yoga. I actually made 3 different yoga videos on YouTube you could go to now and enjoy how great you’ll feel if you spend just a little time getting your body free of stress. But, I can’t do it for you. This article about it can make you do it. You must be a self-started at home, as well as work. Set your mind to a clear schedule of things to do. This would be a brilliant time to learn a new language or clean out the closets.

We give away our peace of mind every time we react emotionally to inevitable change. Peace is yours to keep, not give away. So, if you are not experiencing peace, it’s up to you to share why you are anxious with yourself by carrying on a self dialogue. Yes, that’s right. Question yourself. Work it out together with all the parts of your mind (the good, bad, and the ugly). These are the times when we will be closest to our loved ones and also have a great deal of alone time. Use it to your spiritual and physical advantage.
